Trapster is Movin On Up the Top Free Apps on Apple iTunes

That’s right, Trapster is movin on up the list of most downloaded free applications available through Apple iTunes.

One thing is very clear: the more users involved with reporting speed traps, red light cameras, mobile speed cameras, etc; the more accurate Trapster’s trapmap will be.

Trapster did make an appearance in the “Top Free Apps”, back in October of 2008, this was Trapster’s debut in Apple’s revolutionary App Store. Eventually Trapster dropped off the list :-( , but you can’t keep a great app down.  With the help of over 1 million Trapster users spreading the word, the speed trap sharing app moved right back up to the top 100 free apps.

With about 70,000 apps in the Apple App Store, and at least 90% being free, this makes the top 100 a very big deal. Fantastic news for us, and we plan on moving all the way to the top of the list, since we will continue improving the application and giving you Mac “fan boys” more of what you want.
