We are very excited to announce our newest version of Trapster for Windows Mobile devices. Trapster is powered by over 2 million users reporting speed traps, red light cameras, police checkpoints, and more. With this addition of Windows Mobile users, Trapster’s trapmap will become more accurate and more likely to save you from receiving an unwanted speeding ticket.
The reviews have already starting coming in and we can’t wait to read more.
Here is a recent review from pocketnow.com:
“The map works just as you’d expect. You can zoom in/out and select between road, satellite and hybrid views. A pleasant surprise is that Trapster doesn’t just limit you to viewing speed traps. It can also display real-time traffic/accident info and route directions on the map. On top of that, it can search and display points of interest. For example, you can search “pizza” and Trapster will return a list of nearby restaurants that serve pizza. You can then choose to display them on the map and see exactly where they’re located. Powerful features like this make me somewhat anxious to see what future installments of Trapster will look like.” – CJ Lippstreu

As always the Trapster app is free and available on our site.
Stay tuned for posts on how to use all of Trapster’s features on WIndows Mobile, and as always feel free to reach out to us through twitter and / or our facebook fan page.

Still not working outside US. Is somebody doing something to correct this, unless this great software is useless?

See the questions below. I've helped you testing Trapster for continental Europe and the last version you send me – quite some time ago already – is working fine, in Holland that is, which I reported immediately. However, I don't see any update on your website, nor do you answer my questions via email. Is there going to be an official, working European version?

I have some problems with trapster, Im using AT&T Tilt 2 (touch pro 2). 1) I can't report more than one trap, 2) If I Des agree with a trap, when I get back to the map it froze, 3) some times when it switch from Edge to 3G the map stop generating. I'm looking forward to a NEW VERSION of TRAPSTER for WINDOWS MOBILE.

Surely it can not be right, where you are focused to avoid penalties instead of driving safely.
