Finally! The day came we released our Windows Mobile version of Trapster. We know this was a much anticipated release, thanks to all our twitter and facebook fans out there. The great reviews have already started to pile up about our Windows Mobile version. Here’s a sample of a few of our favorites:

Multiple Map Views
Since you are such a huge Google fanboy, you ran out and bought the Google Phone. And I bet you even love using Google Maps for its awesome features. So we incorporated some of these features by offering the ability to view the Trapmap in different views: map, satellite, and traffic. To change your map display, click the menu and select “settings.”
Map View: This is the default view for Trapster, showing you a virtual representation of the streets, landmarks, and cities across the globe. This comes in handy when you need to quickly plan a route, since all major streets and highways really pop off the screen with easy to see colors.
Satellite View: This view gives you a bird’s eye view of any location using real satellite imagery. Just like Google Earth.
Traffic View: Is exactly what it says, a view of traffic with four different colors representing how fast traffic is moving. Green stands for more than 50 miles per hour, yellow is 25 – 50 miles per hour, the dreaded red is less than 25 miles per hour, and lastly gray which means there is no data currently available.
Virtual Radar
The red dot automatically follows your current GPS location in real time. The emanating blips show the Virtual Radar® alert zone. The alert zone dynamically narrows and elongates based on your velocity and direction of travel. Icons animate while the corresponding audio alert is played.
From Point A to Point B, Trapster Has You Covered
Click the route icon in upper right corner next to search. This feature allows you to input your destination and plot your route from start to end point.
Local Search
Need to know where the closest pizza place is or how about the nearest gas station? Just click the search icon in upper right corner. Enter your search term and get local results. You can then choose from the listing to find the location on the map. Your choice is called out on the map with easy access to get more information about this location. From phone number to address if it’s available.
Install Instructions & Car Kit
Installation instructions: Download this file to your phone by clicking on the right “Download” image (if you are accessing this page from your phone) or by typing trapster.com/wm/trapster.CAB into your mobile browser. The file will be placed in the Documents folder. Then run the file and allow it to install. Finally, go to Start > Programs and click the Trapster police car icon. Alternatively you can download the file to your computer and then copy it to your phone later.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Trapster for Windows Mobile requires GPS, Windows Mobile 6.0 or greater, and will only work on touch screen devices.
