In August, it was leaked by precentral.net and everythingpre.com that Trapster would soon be available for the WebOS based Palm Pre. Well it is now the day the phone rumored to be an iPhone killer is going to turn into a traffic ticket killer.
WebOS Look & Feel

Playing with Trapster on the WebOS has a refreshing and unique feel compared to all other of our supported platforms. With exclusive trapmap icons, transparent menu screens and buttons, it has a totally refreshed and modern feel.

Touching the “+ Report Trap” button will bring up all of the enforcement points that you may come across on the road. Reporting a “trap” is simple and done with two quick finger commands on the Pre’s vibrant touch screen.

Touching the “list” icon in the bottom right of the screen gives you a quick list of the traps reported in your area. You can also type in specific search terms, such as street names, to make sure you are aware of all the potential enforcement points on your drive.
Ready Set Go

Trapster runs “straight out of the box”. But we know you want to be able to customize things, so in the top left drop down you can tweak your preferences of Trapster’s Alert and Trap Settings. Check out Customizing Alert & Trap Settings in Trapster for Palm Pre (WebOS) for more on this.
The Pre will Soon have a New Friend

Trapster will soon be available for two Palm smart phones: Pre and the recently announced Pixi.
We are excited to add you Palm newbies to the rapidly growing number of Trapster users. And remember you can find us on twitter and facebook if you have any questions or suggestions.

What would be the point of putting trapster on the pixi? It doesn't have networking while on the road. Would it have some kind of offline mode and sync when it gets into wifi areas?

Oops; I had that exactly wrong; the pixi has EVDO, not wifi.

I love the app but would really like to see more options like that of the iPhone. Seems like developers have been leaving webOS users on the back burner. It's a great app and would be greater with more preferences to play with!
