Trapster 3.5 Update Now Available for BlackBerry

Trapster’s BlackBerry users have been patiently waiting for an update. We are proud to announce version 3.5 is now available!

The coolest new feature is definitely the sound themes. Nothing beats Austin Powers alerting “Ohhhh, it’s a red light camera”. Lets go over all the exciting new features:

  • Trap Filtering

    • Specify what types and how you are alerted.

  • Manual Location Setting

    • No GPS or blocked? Type in your zip code to see traps in your area.

  • Report Trap Menu Update

    • More info, so you report the right trap type.

    I'm having trouble getting the alerts to vibrate and “speak”. Previous version worked ok, but the upgrade (v3.5.7) doesn't

    I just downloaded trapster 3.6.0 for my bb storm II. Is that the correct software? It can't never find me. It says Searching for location…Click nere to set location manually

    Having the same problem. How do we correct this?

    Same problem on my Storm 9530. No alert heard on “handfree”. Went back to older version which works fine. Too bad. Why is it that this problem was reported 2 weeks ago and there is no fix available yet.

    I found the problem. Each type of can be set individually as far as alerts.

    Please shoot us an email: contact@trapster.net with details regarding this issue. We have tried to recreate it here in the office, with no success. We will trouble shoot this issue with you, and get Trapster working on your Storm 2.
