The Trapster Blog Goes Mobile

Google Buzz

Yesterday the Trapster team came across this handy little WordPress plug-in called WPtouch. And within 5 minutes the Trapster blog was mobile! The mobile view is supported on iPod, iPhone, BlackBerry Storm, Palm Pre, and Android. How freaking cool right? Check it out for yourself. Just open the web browser on your mobile phone and type in: http://www.blog.trapster.com.

The first page you will see should look a little something like this:

The mobile blog is super easy to navigate with all the same functions of viewing the blog from a computer. For example, lets say you want to view a synopsis of a blog post before opening the full article. No problem! Just select the little down arrow button in the top right corner of each post. The synopsis will open with an option to view the full post at the bottom.

The mobile view makes is easy to share posts with your friends on twitter or facebook, leave comments, send a post via email, or even bookmark for future reference.

My favorite feature is the search. You can search by tags, categories, or even just type in your own. It couldn’t be any easier to find what your looking for!

And lastly, I can’t help but point out how all the pictures and videos show up and play normally. Especially our how-to videos which you can hit “play” right from the blog post. A YouTube window pops up giving you full control.
