
2009 was a fabulous year for Trapster. We grew by leaps and bounds and the best part is we’re not slowing down. From great news coverage to millions of more Trapster users around the world, lets take a look at the top 10 Trapster 2009 milestones. Drum-roll please!
10.

On April 14th Trapster Reaches 600,000 Users! In early April we reached 600K users worldwide and couldn’t be happier. Little did we know that this was just a preview of the amount of users Trapster would get in 2009.
9.

On June 6th: Trapster for Android was released! Android was a platform that Trapster could not ignore. We were proud to let Android users get the speed trap app.

On June 22nd: Time.com named Trapster a Top 10 App! We were very honored to be recognized by such a large publication.

On July 20th Trapster reached 1 million users! The same day in history that the first human walked on the moon, Trapster reached 1 million users, mind boggling isn’t it?

On September 18th: Trapster was featured on the home page of AOL! This introduced Trapster to a whole lot of new eye balls. Very exciting for us.

On October 2nd: Fox News featured a great story on Trapster with Pete taking the news crew for a drive in his Jeep. This was humongous for us and launched the app into the top 20 of iTune’s top free apps, out of all 90,000 applications.

On October 6th: We were excited to see that we were featured on TechCrunch with the story: Trapster Speed Trap App Downloads Hit 50,000/Day The “Speed Trap App” was gaining some speed!

On October 12th: Trapster became available for Windows Mobile! We were ecstatic to be able to offer Trapster to all of the Windows Mobile users.

On October 23rd: Trapster for Palm WebOS was released! Trapster was available for the Palm Pre during the first few months of its release, and now Palm is pushing the brand new Palm Pixi. We are stoked to be growing with WebOS users.

On December 20th: Trapster reached over 3 Million users! With over 2 Million on the iPhone alone, and BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile, Palm WebOS, and Nokia devices with over 1 million combined users.
