It was only last month Trapster  announced reaching 5 million users, and today we are proud to announce Trapster has surpassed 6 million users worldwide! Now, that number sounds good on its own, but compared to the populations of all major U.S. cities,  there is only one city’s population larger than the number of Trapster users, New York City.

Trapster’s user numbers are growing rapidly, we average 20,000 new users, and 8,000 new traps reported each day. This growing number of users and traps increases the effectiveness of the application. In fact, there are more Trapster users than popular social applications Gowalla, foursquare, and Loopt combined!
