Team Wu
Team Wu, the Bull Run Season 3 champions, will be driving the Trapster cop car in this year’s world famous Bullrun rally starting July 9th in New York city and finishing July 16th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Team Wu has packed this year’s 2010 Dodge Charger with every gadget they have ever used for a rally, but when asked about Trapster Bill Wu responded:
“Trapster is our secret weapon.”
Team Wu aka The Wu Brothers aka Big and Little Wu aka The Swine Flu Response Team were the official winners of the Bullrun Season 3 television show on the SPEED Channel. Both Bill and Allen Wu are car guys to the core. With tons of car rallies under their belts, they are quickly becoming the kings of road rallying in the US.
The Bullrun Rally is a winner-takes-all high speed race using supercars, modified for higher speed, and decked out with police evading gadgets and navigation devices. Team Wu wanted the best way to keep them aware of potential speed traps and road hazards, they knew Trapster was the solution.
Modified to Win
Bill and Allen’s custom built Dodge Charger has an Apple iPad mounted to the dash, with Trapster running to keep them notified as they compete in the race.
What other modifications were added to the Trapster Cop Car? The latest posts from Team Wu’s blog reveal a Vortech supercharger, eibach springs, custom 22 inch HRE wheels, and a Wilson Electronics cellular amplifier. We can’t give you anymore details, since this is a race, and Team Wu doesn’t want the competition aware of what they have under the hood.
