Did you know that you can hide all the tabs on Trapster? Did you know that you can get directions to your Caravan buddie’s exact GPS location? What about making the app display all the Starbucks locations around you? This is like learning there is a secret menu at your favorite restaurant! Lets dig into the overlooked features of Trapster’s iPhone app.
Look Mom, No Tabs!
If you want to remove all of the blue tabs from your iPhone screen, tap settings, then scroll down to the “User Interface” options and slide the “Tab Hiding” setting to “On”. Now you will not have any tabs obstructing your view of the trapmap. To display them, simply tap the screen and the blue tabs will slide out.
Dude, Where Are You?
Getting turn by turn directions directly to any of your Caravan buddies is easy. Simply tap the Caravan Tab then Buddies and select the buddy you need directions to. Now tap the Directions button, and a route will be created on the map that will take you directly to your buddy!
POIs That Feed Your Caffeine Fix
Trapster is loaded with POIs! If you are on the road and need an affordable 8 dollar cup of coffee, turn on the Starbucks POI and easily find their closest location.
To activate any of the POIs navigate to your Map Display Options and turn on any of the 7 different POIs.
Search
Need to find a local business? You don’t have to leave Trapster to search, just tap the magnifying glass icon and type in whatever you are looking for. Once you enter a key word, locations will appear on the map as a purple icon, tap the icon to get more info and directions.
Tip: to clear the search results from the map, hold down the magnifying glass icon.
Lock Orientation
Now I am sure you already knew you can use Trapster with the iPhone being vertical or horizontal, but did you know you could lock it into either position?
Simply tap settings, scroll down to User Interface and slide Lock Orientation to ON.
