Pete from Trapster will be driving a brand new 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe in this year’s 11-99 Foundation Car Drive. GM provided the hot new 556 horsepower sports car, so that it can be in the mix of over 300 American Classic and exotic vehicles taking to the streets in the historic event.

What is the 11-99 Foundation?

The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization that provides Benefits and Scholarships to California Highway Patrol family members. Since the CHP 11-99 Foundation was incorporated in 1981, the members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors have distributed over $18 million in assistance to current, retired and Fallen in the Line of Duty CHP employees and their families. For 28 years, the important work of the Foundation has been enabled through the generosity of tens of thousands of individual donors and volunteers and by institutional grant funding.

Each year the 580 Squad Club and 11-99 Foundation holds this exclusive, invitation only, exotic car drive, and auction. The event sells out nearly instantly. This year will be the biggest ever – over 200 exotic cars will participate! The exotic vehicles in this drive are so high end, that the low end rides are $250,000 Ferraris and Lamborghinis. At the high end of the spectrum you will find million dollar + Bugattis, Enzos, Zondas and more. The West Valley CHP and other police will be escorting the drive, to ensure safety and minimize the impact on other traffic.
