What’s New in 4.5.1?

With this update you will notice improved load time, alerting, and overall performance especially on older Apple devices. Trapster is now compatible with iOS 4.0 and above. Retina Display image support has also been added to Trapster v.4.5.1. For non Apple fanboys, lets take a look at what all this means.

Improved Alerting

We improved our alerting management, providing refined alerting logic.

Non Apple Fan Boy Translation: Our last update was very well received, with the addition of a new map, speed limit data, etc. Now, we have fine tuned Trapster’s alert radius to make sure you are warned of upcoming speed traps & road hazards even sooner and better! Yay!

Retina Display Imagery Support

We refreshed our UI with Retina Display Iconography, including: Splash screen, Report button, and Tabs.

Non Apple Fan Boy Translation: We upped the resolution on our buttons, so it looks great on your retina equipped Apple devices.

We LOVE Your Feedback

We have listened to your feedback and fixed many of the issues you reported, including:

Application Crashes: We have resolved the issues causing application instability on 3GS and iPad1 devices.

Audio/Background Music: We addressed the feature crash resulting from the music button being hit twice. Also, the background music no longer ducks after an alert is played.

Caravan: Issues related to sending attachments through the Caravan feature have been resolved.

Application Performance: We implemented Networking improvements to enhance application performance. We also improved our Map Caching enabling faster map display and overall performance.
