We are very excited to bring you version 3.2. This version is packed with Android exclusive features that are sure to make your iPhone owning friends jealous. With new features like: Speed Limit Reporting, Profile pages, nearby traps & new traps lists, the ability to share your traps via social networks, and 4 new languages; this is surely a HUGE update. Lets dive deeper into these new features.
Speed Limit Reporting
Have you ever been running Trapster and noticed the speed limit displayed was not correct? Or the speed limit box was not displaying the speed limit? Now you have the ability to either correct the posted limit or enter it yourself.
Profile Pages
Profile pages give you the ability to see your Karma Score, plus the distance you have traveled with Trapster running. You will also see the number of votes you have submitted, reports you have made, and even the number of traps or hazards you have avoided. You will also see stats on Trips you are currently recording or currently taking!
Traplists
Nearby Traps: See traps and road hazards that are near you. Within 3 miles, to be exact.
New Traps: See traps and road hazards that have been reported recently. Within the last 24 hours, to be exact.
Share Traps
You can now share your traps on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google +. You can also send trap info via a message or email.
What Else is New?
* Various Big Bug Fixes – Including Fixes Specifically for the HTC Rezound.
* 4 Languages Now Supported – French, German, Spanish, & Portuguese – Adding localization lets our huge international user base use Trapster in their native language plus helps our add to our huge international user base. The more Trapster users there are the more accurate the trapmap will be.
* Start Up Tutorial – You will notice some tutorials screens to with some quick tips on how to use the speed trap app.
* Added Help Options – Including direct access to our GetSatisfaction Page. If you need customer support, you can post questions directly to our customer support forum from your Android device.
