Hints & Tips: Patrol Lines

Monday, November 25, 2013

What are patrol lines? Drive with confidence knowing that other Trapster users have patrolled the road ahead of you by the blue line that displays on your route.

This way you know other Trapster users have been on the road you are currently driving on ensuring that all traps and road conditions have been patrolled by other users.

When a road has been driven on recently, it is a dark blue, but as time fades the blue line gets lighter.  The duration of these lines last about 2 hours before they disappear. Patrol lines are anonymous and start and stop based on speed over a period of time.

For those users who do not want to see Patrol Lines or have their Patrol Lines shown we have an added an on/off button in the settings menu, seen in the picture on the left.

We have a lot on our mind as it is; the last thing we need is to worry about are speed traps and road hazards. Hope this helps, happy driving!
