Holiday Sound Theme Added to Trapster

Today we added a new Holiday sound theme to Trapster for iOS & Android users. If you would like to hear this new theme, navigate to your sound themes menu within Trapster and activate the Santa Claus Sound Theme.
Now we know not everyone celebrates Christmas, so we are not ignoring all other Holidays, we just wanted to include Santa in this year’s sound themes… what other Holiday sound themes should we add? Please post your suggestions to our Facebook Page.

Trapster Adds 4 New Sound Themes & 2 New Trap Types for Halloween!

Just Released: Trapster 3.0 for Android!

Today we released Trapser 3.0 for Android! This update is our biggest yet, featuring a real time speedometer that also displays the speed limit of the road you are on, a refreshed U.I. and the brand new Trapster widget. Trapster Goes Green: EV Charging Station Added
Trapster has gone green! We’re excited to announce our newest POI, EV Charging Station. This will mark electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructures that delivers electric fuel to EV’s around the globe. In an effort to help our green driving friends get from point A to point B in their electric vehicles, Trapster users can now locate and mark charging stations.
What is an EV charger?
An electric vehicle charger is responsible for recharging the battery banks in an electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid vehicle. EV chargers are installed in your house, office, shopping stores, and public places to enable one to charge their electric cars or plug-in hybrids. One needs more than 1 EV charger per vehicle as the driving distance between charges is limited and one would need to charge their electric vehicle before getting back home. Trapster Now Available on Amazon Appstore

Trapster is now available on Amazon’s Appstore for Android! You most likely already have Trapster, but Amazon’s Appstore can introduce Trapster to many new users. So, if you want to help build the Trapster community, you can review us on the Amazon Appstore, and maybe your review will convince some users to download Trapster!
With the availability of Trapster on more app stores, the easier it is for people to join the Trapster community, which adds to the traps added to the trapmap, making Trapster more accurate for everyone. We will continue to push to get Trapster on every possible app store.
Road Hazard Trap added to Trapster!

Trapster users will notice a new hazard appearing on the trapmap, the Road Hazard. We already provide you with a number of hazards to report, but they are very specific. The new “Road Hazard” trap will be for all of the hazards you come across that are not defined with Trapster’s other hazards.
An example would be a dirty mattress lying in the fast lane on the freeway, since Trapster does not have a “Dirty Mattress” trap type, you would choose the “Road Hazard” trap type. Lets take a look at our official definition: Read the rest of this entry »

Shuffle Sound Theme Added to Trapster

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just want Trapster’s sound theme to shuffle through different characters voices, so I don’t have to hear the same voice for every alert.
If you are like me, and want some variety in your Trapster audio alerts, try the new Shuffle sound theme in Trapster! Our latest sound theme combines all of the fun sound theme voices into one. To access this new theme simply go to the Sound Theme menu in your phone and select “Shuffle”.

Spooky Things are Happening this Halloween at Trapster
SpoOoOoky things have happened at Trapster causing Halloween treats to pop up everywhere!
