Holiday Sound Theme Added to Trapster

Today we added a new Holiday sound theme to Trapster for iOS & Android users. If you would like to hear this new theme, navigate to your sound themes menu within Trapster and activate the Santa Claus Sound Theme.

Now we know not everyone celebrates Christmas, so we are not ignoring all other Holidays, we just wanted to include Santa in this year’s sound themes… what other Holiday sound themes should we add? Please post your suggestions to our Facebook Page.

We hope you get great gifts this season, maybe something that comes with a twin turbo? Read the rest of this entry »

Trapster Goes Green: EV Charging Station Added

Trapster has gone green! We’re excited to announce our newest POI, EV Charging Station. This will mark electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructures that delivers electric fuel to EV’s around the globe. In an effort to help our green driving friends get from point A to point B in their electric vehicles, Trapster users can now locate and mark charging stations.

Road Hazard Trap added to Trapster!

Trapster users will notice a new hazard appearing on the trapmap, the Road Hazard. We already provide you with a number of hazards to report, but they are very specific. The new “Road Hazard” trap will be for all of the hazards you come across that are not defined with Trapster’s other hazards.

An example would be a dirty mattress lying in the fast lane on the freeway, since Trapster does not have a “Dirty Mattress” trap type, you would choose the “Road Hazard” trap type. Lets take a look at our official definition: Read the rest of this entry »
