So, what do you think? We would love some feedback on exactly what you like and what you don’t like.
- What do you think about the color scheme?
- Do you like the overall look and feel of the homepage?
- Do you like the flash animation? The map animation? etc.

Trapster at TechCrunch50
Posted by Stefanie in Events, Trapster Life on September 16th, 2009
Pete and I just got back from TechCrunch50, a two day event that was held in San Francisco, CA. TechCrunch50, for those not familiar with the event, brings together the “best start-ups and launch them in front of our industry’s most influential VCs, corporations, fellow entrepreneurs, and press. TechCrunch creates a platform where early-stage, and frequently unfunded, companies can take center stage based purely on merit, without regard to their own financial resources.” Industry leaders from companies such as Myspace, facebook, Twitter, and Amazon and so many more, were on hand to lend advice and listen to what could become the next hottest industry phenomenon.

But there are forces out patrolling the streets looking for these mistakes. Read the rest of this entry »

We’ve all either been a lucky recipient of a speeding ticket, or heard the stories of unfortunate motorist receiving a costly reminder to obey the posted speed limit. Working for Trapster I get to to hear stories about this everyday, and thought it would be good to supply some interesting speeding ticket tales paired with some useful resources for our Trapster users.
Some Fun Facts

Trapster Moderator on CBC Radio
Posted by Stefanie in News, Trapster Life on August 13th, 2009
Just recently one of our very own Trapster moderators, Ken Murray, was on CBC Radio in Victoria, Canada. And guess what he was talking about? Trapster of course!
Mr. Murray, an auto parts delivery driver by day, always uses Trapster when working. He says he’s not a big speeder but Trapster keeps him check. Since Mr. Murray logs so many miles, he says its easy for his speed to creep up without notice. But when he hears the voice of Trapster warning him about an upcoming speed trap, he instantly checks his speed.
Here is the CBC radio clip of Ken Murray talking about Trapster:
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
We want to give a big THANK YOU to Mr. Murray for his love of Trapster and Read the rest of this entry »
