How-To Get Driving Directions on Your iPhone

Lost, my friends think it’s my middle name. So most people are not surprised to learn that I think computer generated driving directions to be the best invention to ever come about. I live and breathe Google Map’s driving directions.

But most of you guys don’t know that the Trapster iPhone app utilizes Google Maps and can provide the same driving directions we know and love while we’re running the app for speed trap alerts. Essentially it’s a one-stop-shop, which I find to be fabulous, because now I can run Trapster to avoid unnecessary tickets and get directions to any destination my heart desires.

If you’re not familiar with the driving directions feature on Trapster, you’re missing out on some great stuff. We all know the iPhone’s biggest flaw is only being able to run one app at a time. So to have an app that serves multiple functions is key. That’s why we built Trapster to include the trap info you need, the driving directions you love, and the ability to record road trips, search (who doesn’t need a taco shop at 2am?), and view traffic.

How-To Customize Trapster’s Display on Your iPhone

Have you ever bought a new cell phone, pulled it out of the box along with the charger, and tossed everything else aside not even thinking of the papers and booklets that are tucked within that shiny neat packaging? I can honestly say I have never once opened a cell phone user guide. My philosophy has always been to just figure it out as I go. It’s more of a subconscious decision I must of made with myself years ago that just stuck.

Therefore, I’m always shocked when I learn something new about my cell or come across a new feature. I will admit, sometimes I feel like an idiot when I make that big “OOOOOOOH” noise as I realize I could of made my life ten times easier or saved myself a gang of time.

Which was the root of the problem to begin with… time. Finding the time to sit down and read a cell phone user guide. Let alone building enough motivation to even think about doing it.
