Understanding Trap Types & Confidence Levels with Trapster for the Palm Pre

Trapster is now available for the Palm Pre on the WebOS mobile operating system! We are excited to announce exclusive Trap Type Icons for the Pre, and put together a quick run through of what they mean for our new users.

Part of getting the most out of Trapster is understanding the different trap types and confidence levels that we use on the web and in the mobile applications. We’ve created a system that uses various icons and colors to denote different trap types, ie. red light cameras, and their associated user confidence level, so that you can visually add and identify the right traps. Given that Trapster’s application is only as good as the data that our community members (that’s you) provide us, we think its important to dissect all the different trap types. Good Vibes From Trapster Users

We hear amazing Trapster stories from our users all the time. From turning Trapster on for the first time and getting accurate trap reports to being saved from a speeding ticket.

Here at the office we can’t help but grin from ear to ear when we hear these stories. It’s exciting to see Trapster, something we work so hard on, being loved and utilized by so many users. It’s so exciting actually, that we wanted to share some of those amazing stories and shout-outs.

Quick Testdrive: Trapster on 2 Nokia Devices

Nokia mobile phones are the number one used mobile phone worldwide, they sold 468 million phones last year and still own 41.2 percent of the smartphone market. Just astonishing! And who can forget Nokia’s impact on the mobile phone market? I know I had an old school chunky 5100 or something.
