I was so excited about our moderator spotlight last week that I couldn’t help but write another one for this week. These spotlights give you an insight into the lives of our moderators and all their hard work and dedication to Trapster. This week we officially announced our first ever Trapster moderator contest that will start on May 1, 2010. The contest is slated to run for six months with a new winner each month.

School Zone Hazard added to Trapster
iPhone users will notice a new hazard appearing on the trapmap, the school zone hazard. Trapster recently added road hazards to the list of reportable “traps” within the application. Meet Trapster’s Trapologists

That’s right, Trapster is movin on up the list of most downloaded free applications available through Apple iTunes.

Having trouble determining if that is a red light camera or just your typical traffic camera? Trapster is a user generated service, so we are depending on you to report accurate traps on the Trapmap, but with all the different models of these cameras, it is hard to be sure.
