What does a Trapster Moderator do & how do I become one?

Moderators have the ability to move and delete other user’s traps and votes that are incorrect by utilizing the Trapmap. As well as be apart of a special moderator forum, where suggestions are encouraged and valued. We have over a hundred moderators already and hope to one day be in the thousands with people all over the world in all major cities.

Being a moderator is a very important and sometimes timely job. We hold all our moderators to a superior level of service and support with the expectation they will always do what’s best for Trapster and it’s user without abuse.

Here are a few things we look at when approving a moderator request:

1. Accurate traps being reported / voted via mobile and Trapmap.
2. Actively using Trapster’s Trapmap, Get Satisfaction (helping users, not reporting problems), blog, facebook, and / or twitter.

Trapster has over 5 million users and growing everyday. We are very excited and think you would have fun being apart of our growing online community.

    Hi Guys I was wondering if you had in mind to add parking inspector whereabouts to trapster, as this is a real revenue raising problem to know where they are and to beat them at their game it would be great

    This is most amazing app on planet but there is a hope to make it even better and easier to use. Radar/Laser detector with bluetooth will update and tag locations also confirm automatically.

    I have often though it would be cool to link a radar detecer to a gps, the gps to the web, and have users share the info; this looks like a close match.

    HEY, IS ANY ONE ELSE OUT THERE HAVING TROUBLE WITH USERS PUT FAKE TRAP INFO UP,I KNOW OF ONE IN MY AREA THAT DOES,I HAVE RATED HIS TRAPS BUT DON'T KNOW IF IT DOES ANY GOOD

    I'll look at his reported locations and submit them to the higher up if they look suspect. Anyone else having the same problem just click on the ! in the trap and report user and a moderator will examine his/her activities

    Voting down a trap will change the confidence level and could eventually remove the trap from the trapmap.
